Clinical significance:

circRNA MFN2 was expected to offer support as a marker for WT diagnosis and treatment.

Description:

In this study, circRNA MFN2 was up-regulated in Wilms tumor tissues and WiT49 cells. Functional assays showed that knockdown of circRNA MFN2 suppressed WT cell proliferation, migration and invasion and promoted apoptosis. Mechanistically, circRNA MFN2 modulated the miR-372-3p/TGFBR2 axis, supporting its potential role as a diagnostic or therapeutic marker for WT.
