Description:

circ_FNDC3B is up-regulated in ESCC tissues and cells and acts as an oncogenic circRNA. Its knockdown suppresses proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT and xenograft tumor growth while promoting apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ_FNDC3B sponges miR-136-5p to increase MAPK1 expression, forming a circ_FNDC3B/miR-136-5p/MAPK1 axis associated with malignant ESCC progression.
