hsa_circ_0064428 could be considered as an independent HCC prognostic biomarker; high expression was negatively correlated with overall survival and associated with larger tumour size, advanced tumour stage and metastasis. |
| Description: |
Plasma hsa_circ_0064428 was identified by circRNA microarray and validated by qRT-PCR as differentially expressed between HCC patients with high and low tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes. Higher hsa_circ_0064428 expression was associated with poorer overall survival, lower TIL levels, larger tumour size, advanced stage and metastasis, supporting its role as a non-invasive prognostic biomarker for HCC. Bioinformatics analysis suggested that hsa_circ_0064428 may interact with several miRNAs, but the molecular mechanism was not experimentally validated. |
