Description:

circACTN4 is up-regulated in breast cancer and mainly localizes to the nucleus. It promotes proliferation, migration/invasion and xenograft tumor growth by increasing MYC expression, enhancing TIP60-dependent histone H4 acetylation at MYC target genes (e.g., CCNE1 and CDK4), thereby driving G1/S cell cycle progression; high circACTN4 is associated with poorer overall survival.
