circ-Sirt1 is down-regulated in RA-FLS MH7A cells compared with normal FLS. Its overexpression suppresses MH7A proliferation, promotes apoptosis, reduces IL-1b, IL-6, TNF-a, MMP-1 and MMP-3, and ameliorates inflammation through a miR-132/Sirt1-related mechanism involving inhibition of NF-jB signaling and activation of Nrf2/HO-1 signaling. The study proposes circ-Sirt1 as a potential therapeutic target for RA. |
