High circPGPEP1 expression was positively correlated with high histological grade and distant metastasis in RCC patients, and patients with high circPGPEP1 levels had worse survival prognosis.
circPGPEP1 is up-regulated in RCC tissues and cell lines and is associated with high histological grade, distant metastasis, and poor survival. Mechanistically, cytoplasmic circPGPEP1 sponges miR-378a-3p to increase JPT1 expression, thereby promoting RCC proliferation, invasion, migration, EMT, Warburg effect, tumor growth, and distant metastasis.
