Increased circ_0020123 is an independent risk factor for DVT in pregnant women and circ_0020123 is proposed as a new circRNA biomarker for DVT in pregnant women.
circ_0020123 is up-regulated in serum from pregnant women with DVT and in ox-LDL-treated HUVECs. The study identifies increased circ_0020123 as an independent risk factor and new biomarker for DVT in pregnant women, and functionally shows that circ_0020123 aggravates endothelial cell injury by inhibiting proliferation, angiogenesis, and migration while promoting apoptosis, oxidative stress, inflammation, and thrombosis-related factors.
