This study shows that circHIPK3 is upregulated in cisplatin-resistant gastric cancer cells, tissues, and serum exosomes. circHIPK3 promotes cisplatin resistance by sponging miR-508-3p and regulating the Bcl-2/beclin1/SLC7A11 axis, thereby suppressing autophagy-dependent ferroptosis. Serum exosomal circHIPK3 may serve as a noninvasive indicator of cisplatin resistance and therapeutic efficacy in gastric cancer. |
