| Clinical significance: |
High circRHOBTB3 expression is associated with poor overall survival and is an independent prognostic factor in PDAC patients. |
| Description: |
circRHOBTB3 is up-regulated in PDAC tissues and cell lines and promotes PDAC cell proliferation and tumor growth. It mainly localizes in the cytoplasm and acts as a ceRNA by sponging miR-600 to maintain NACC1 levels, thereby enhancing autophagy through inhibition of Akt/mTOR signaling; its biogenesis is promoted by the RBP FUS. High circRHOBTB3 expression predicts poor prognosis and is an independent risk factor in a 110-patient cohort. |
