Description:

hsa_circ_0026377, generated from exons 2-9 of KRT81, was down-regulated in cervical cancer and validated by RT-qPCR. Functional gain-of-function assays showed that hsa_circ_0026377 suppresses HeLa and SiHa cell proliferation, migration and invasion. Bioinformatics analyses placed hsa_circ_0026377 in a predicted circRNA-miRNA-mRNA ceRNA network, suggesting it may regulate cervical cancer progression through miRNA-mediated target gene pathways.
