Description:

CircCDK14 is down-regulated in OA cartilage tissues, IL-1b-treated chondrocytes, and serum exosomes from OA patients. Its overexpression protects chondrocytes from IL-1b-induced injury by promoting proliferation, inhibiting apoptosis, and reducing ECM degradation through the miR-1183/KLF5 axis. Serum exosomal circCDK14 also has potential diagnostic value for OA.
