Description:

circRNA CRIM1 is down-regulated in bladder cancer tissues and cell lines and its expression is associated with distal migration. Functional assays indicate that circRNA CRIM1 overexpression suppresses bladder cancer cell migration and invasion. Mechanistically, circRNA CRIM1 acts through the miR-182/Foxo3a axis, reducing miR-182 and increasing Foxo3a mRNA/protein expression, suggesting tumor-suppressive and potential therapeutic relevance.
