circFBXW8 is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues, NSCLC cell lines, and exosomes from NSCLC cells. It functions as an oncogenic circRNA by sponging miR-370-3p to increase TRIM44 expression, thereby promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT-like marker changes and xenograft tumor formation while inhibiting apoptosis. Its secretion is mediated by exosomes, and circFBXW8 inhibition is proposed as a potential therapeutic strategy for NSCLC.
