Description:

Circ-PAPPA (hsa_circ_0088233) is up-regulated in prostate cancer tissues and cell lines. It promotes malignant phenotypes including proliferation, migration, invasion, glycolysis and xenograft tumour growth while suppressing apoptosis, mainly through sponging miR-515-5p to increase FKBP1A expression. Higher circ-PAPPA expression is associated with aggressive clinicopathological features such as higher Gleason score, lymph node metastasis and advanced clinical T stage.
