Description:

circ-ITCH was downregulated in high-glucose-induced RMCs. Its overexpression suppressed RMC viability, migration, fibrosis and inflammatory responses, and improved renal inflammation and fibrosis in STZ-induced diabetic mice. Mechanistically, circ-ITCH acted as a sponge for miR-33a-5p to regulate SIRT6 expression.
