Description:

CircMKLN1 is down-regulated in retinoblastoma tissues and cells, and higher circMKLN1 expression is associated with better overall survival. Functionally, circMKLN1 suppresses RB cell proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT-related protein changes, and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, circMKLN1 acts through the circMKLN1/miR-425-5p/PDCD4 axis by sponging miR-425-5p and increasing PDCD4 expression.
