Description:

circRBM33 is upregulated in cervical cancer tissues and cells, and high expression is associated with larger tumor size, advanced FIGO stage, lymph node metastasis and shorter overall survival. Functionally, circRBM33 promotes cervical cancer proliferation, migration, invasion, glycolysis and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, it acts as a ceRNA by sponging miR-758-3p to increase PUM2 expression.
