Functionally, it promotes GC cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, migration, invasion, and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ_PGPEP1 acts as a cytoplasmic ceRNA that sponges miR-1297 to increase E2F3 expression.
