Description:

circTBL1XR1 is up-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues and cell lines and is associated with metastatic disease. It promotes colorectal cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, EMT and tumor growth by sponging miR-424 and relieving miR-424-mediated repression of Smad7. The study proposes the circTBL1XR1/miR-424/Smad7/MAPK8 pathway as a potential therapeutic target in colon cancer.
