Circ_PSD3/miR-637/HEMGN signaling axis might be a potential target for PTC therapy.
Circ_PSD3 is up-regulated in PTC tissues and cell lines and acts as an oncogenic circRNA. It promotes PTC cell cycle progression, proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth while suppressing apoptosis. Mechanistically, circ_PSD3 sponges miR-637 to up-regulate HEMGN and activate PI3K/Akt signaling, suggesting the circ_PSD3/miR-637/HEMGN axis as a potential therapeutic target.
