It promotes NPC migration, invasion, and lung metastasis by acting as a cytoplasmic ceRNA sponge for miR-615-5p and miR-1538, thereby increasing MAPRE1 expression, reducing alpha-tubulin acetylation, promoting dynamic cytoskeleton assembly, and activating EMT. The study proposes circSETD3 as a potential diagnostic and therapeutic biomarker for NPC.
