Description:

In this study, hsa_circ_0001649/circ_0001649 was down-regulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cell lines. Functional experiments showed that circ_0001649 overexpression suppressed OS cell viability, colony formation and proliferation, promoted apoptosis, and inhibited STAT signaling. Mechanistically, circ_0001649 acted as a sponge for miR-338-5p, miR-647 and miR-942, suggesting a tumor-suppressive role and potential therapeutic relevance in OS.
