Description:

circARHGAP5-1 is the human homologous circRNA from the ARHGAP5 locus. Although its obesity-specific expression change was not established, functional knockdown in immortalized human white fat progenitor cells suppressed adipogenesis and lipid accumulation, suggesting conservation of the pro-adipogenic ARHGAP5 circRNA function in humans.
