Overexpressed circMMP9 was correlated with advanced tumor stage and predicted poor prognosis.

Description:

circMMP9 is up-regulated in osteosarcoma tissues/cell lines and its high level associates with advanced stage/metastasis and poorer survival. Functionally, circMMP9 promotes proliferation, migration and invasion and suppresses apoptosis by acting as a cytoplasmic sponge for miR-1265, thereby increasing CHI3L1 expression.
