Description:

circ-ITCH is downregulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and cell lines. Functionally, circ-ITCH acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting NPC cell proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-214 to relieve repression of PTEN, and lower circ-ITCH expression is associated with more advanced TNM stage, clinical stage and lymphatic metastasis.
