Description:

CircCRIM1 (hsa_circ_0002346), derived from CRIM1, is upregulated in HCC tissues and cell lines and is mainly localized in the cytoplasm. It promotes HCC proliferation, G1/S cell-cycle progression and angiogenesis, and enhances xenograft growth by sponging miR-378a-3p to increase SKP2 expression (circCRIM1/miR-378a-3p/SKP2 axis). High circCRIM1 expression correlates with adverse clinicopathologic features and poorer overall survival.
