Mechanistically, circ_PTN sponges miR-542-3p to relieve repression of PIK3R3, thereby activating PI3K/AKT signaling and reducing apoptosis under cisplatin treatment; circ_PTN knockdown sensitizes xenograft tumors to cisplatin.
