Description:

In a CI/R in-vitro model (H/R-treated HT-22 hippocampal neurons), circ-CDR1as is induced by H/R but reduced by dexmedetomidine (DEX). Functionally, circ-CDR1as promotes neuronal injury phenotypes (reduced viability, increased apoptosis and inflammatory cytokines) by sponging miR-28-3p to upregulate TRAF3, thereby counteracting DEX-mediated neuroprotection.
