Description:

circVANGL1 is up-regulated in melanoma tissues and cell lines and promotes malignant phenotypes (proliferation, migration, invasion) and TGF-beta-induced EMT. Mechanistically, circVANGL1 predominantly localizes to the cytoplasm and directly binds/sponges miR-150-5p; restoring miR-150-5p counteracts circVANGL1-driven effects.
