Description:

circ-TNPO3 is down-regulated in gastric cancer tissues and plasma and acts as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting proliferation and migration/metastasis. Mechanistically, it binds IGF2BP3 as a protein decoy, weakening IGF2BP3-mediated stabilization of MYC mRNA and reducing MYC and downstream SNAIL expression. Plasma circ-TNPO3 shows potential diagnostic value, but it is not associated with overall survival in this study.
