| Clinical significance: |
high expression of circDHTKD1 was associated with the clinical stages and tumor size; circDHTKD1 may improve the diagnosis and treatment of OSCC as a potential biomarker |
| Description: |
circDHTKD1 is upregulated in OSCC tissues and cell lines and mainly localizes to the cytoplasm. It promotes proliferation, migration/invasion and tumor growth while inhibiting apoptosis by acting as a ceRNA sponge for miR-326 to upregulate GAB1 (circDHTKD1/miR-326/GAB1 axis). Clinically, higher circDHTKD1 expression is associated with advanced clinical stage and larger tumor size. |
