circUSP48 expression was significantly correlated with tumor size and TNM stage, and circUSP48 was proposed as a potential therapeutic target for OS.
circUSP48/hsa_circ_0000028 is up-regulated in osteosarcoma tissues and cells and promotes malignant phenotypes including proliferation, migration, invasion, colony formation, and tumor growth. Mechanistically, circUSP48 sponges miR-365 to increase CYR61 expression, forming a circUSP48/miR-365/CYR61 axis that contributes to OS progression. Its expression is associated with tumor size and TNM stage, suggesting potential therapeutic relevance.
