high circ_0017639 expression is associated with shorter overall survival in NSCLC patients
circ_0017639 is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines and functions as an oncogenic circRNA that promotes proliferation, migration, invasion, and xenograft tumor growth. Mechanistically, it enhances PI3K/AKT signaling activity (increased PI3K/AKT phosphorylation), and AKT activation (SC97) rescues the inhibitory effects of circ_0017639 knockdown.

Circ_0017639 facilitates proliferative, migratory, and invasive potential of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells via PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.
