Description:

circNRIP1 is up-regulated in colorectal cancer and behaves as an oncogenic circRNA, promoting proliferation/migration/invasion and inhibiting apoptosis. It decreases CRC cell sensitivity to 5-FU by sponging miR-532-3p; knockdown of circNRIP1 increases miR-532-3p and sensitizes cells to 5-FU. High circNRIP1 is associated with advanced disease features and poor overall survival, with potential diagnostic utility (ROC).
