In gastric cancer, circPDSS1 is upregulated in tumor tissues and promotes malignant phenotypes. Propofol suppresses GC progression partly by downregulating circPDSS1, which otherwise sponges miR-1324 to increase SOX4 expression and enhance proliferation/migration/invasion while reducing apoptosis.
