Description:

circRNF13 is down-regulated in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and cell lines and functions as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting proliferation and metastasis. Mechanistically, it binds the 3′-UTR of SUMO2 mRNA to stabilize it, increasing SUMO2, which promotes GLUT1 SUMOylation/ubiquitination and degradation, suppressing glycolysis and modulating AMPK-mTOR signaling.
