circRERE is up-regulated in bortezomib-resistant multiple myeloma serum and resistant MM cell lines. It promotes BTZ resistance by acting as a ceRNA sponge for miR-152-3p, thereby relieving repression of CD47, enhancing proliferation and reducing apoptosis; higher circRERE levels correlate with chemoresistance and poorer survival.
