High circFNTA expression is positively associated with poor prognosis in GC patients and is significantly correlated with histological grade, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, and HP infection; circFNTA is implicated for the diagnosis and treatment of GC.
circFNTA is upregulated in gastric cancer tissues and cell lines, and high expression is associated with poor patient prognosis. Functionally, circFNTA promotes proliferation, metastasis, EMT and tumor growth. Mechanistically, it sponges miR-604 and miR-647 to upregulate SCN8A, forming the circFNTA/miR-604/miR-647/SCN8A axis.
