Description:

circ_0001821 is up-regulated in NSCLC tissues and cell lines and functions as an oncogenic circRNA. Its knockdown suppresses proliferation/colony formation, migration/invasion, and in vivo tumor growth while increasing paclitaxel sensitivity and apoptosis, mainly by sponging miR-526b-5p to relieve repression of GRK5 (circ_0001821/miR-526b-5p/GRK5 axis). High circ_0001821 expression is associated with poorer overall survival in NSCLC patients.
