Description:

circUBAP2 is up-regulated in cervical cancer tissues/cell lines and its high expression is associated with poor overall survival. Functionally, circUBAP2 promotes proliferation, EMT, migration/invasion and metastasis while inhibiting apoptosis. Mechanistically, circUBAP2 acts as a ceRNA that sponges miR-361-3p to increase SOX4 expression (circUBAP2/miR-361-3p/SOX4 axis).
