Circulating circ-CYP24A1 is up-regulated in cSCC and correlates with clinical features (maximum tumor diameter, tumor thickness, preoperative serum SCC-Ag and serum SCC-Ag 1 month after surgery), suggesting a potential non-invasive diagnostic biomarker.

Description:

Exosomal circ-CYP24A1 is up-regulated in cSCC patient plasma. Silencing circ-CYP24A1 in exosomes suppresses malignant behaviors (reduced proliferation/migration/invasion and increased apoptosis) in cSCC cells and is associated with decreased CDS2, MAVS and SOGA1 expression.
