circFNDC3B is down-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues/cell lines/exosomes and functions as a tumor suppressor. It sponges miR-937-5p to derepress TIMP3, thereby inhibiting EMT-associated proliferation, migration/invasion, angiogenesis (VEGFA/VEGFR), tumor growth and liver metastasis; circFNDC3B-enriched exosomes also convey anti-angiogenic effects.
