Description:

circMETTL3 is up-regulated in breast cancer tissues/cell lines and promotes proliferation, migration, invasion and xenograft tumor growth. It mainly localizes to the cytoplasm and functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-31-5p to increase CDK1 expression; its expression is enhanced by m6A modification and is positively regulated by its host gene METTL3 in an m6A-dependent manner.
