| Description: |
circSOD2 is induced during vascular injury/PDGF-BB stimulation and promotes smooth muscle cell proliferation and neointima formation. It mainly localizes to the cytoplasm and functions as a ceRNA by sponging miR-206, relieving repression of NOTCH3 to activate NOTCH3 signaling (including ERK/p38/HEY1) and drive Cyclin D1/CDK4/6-dependent G1-to-S cell cycle progression. |
