Description:

circRSF1 (hsa_circ_0000345), derived from RSF1 and mainly localized in the cytoplasm, is down-regulated in ox-LDL-treated HUVECs (an in vitro atherosclerosis model). Functionally, circRSF1 overexpression restores proliferation and suppresses apoptosis and inflammatory responses by sponging miR-135b-5p, thereby relieving miR-135b-5p-mediated repression of HDAC1.
