Description:

circ_0098823 is an ERBB3-derived circRNA that is up-regulated in HCC tissues and HGF-induced HCC cell lines. It promotes HCC cell viability, migration, invasion, tumor growth and metastasis while suppressing apoptosis, at least partly by binding IGF2BP3 to stabilize DNM1L mRNA and enhance mitochondrial fission. Its expression also showed diagnostic potential for distinguishing HCC from normal controls.
