circ-ITGA7 is significantly down-regulated in colorectal cancer tissues and CRC cell lines. It suppresses CRC cell proliferation by acting as a ceRNA sponge for miR-3187-3p, relieving repression of ASXL1 (via ASXL1 5′-UTR), and it promotes apoptosis and G1-phase arrest in vitro.
