circ-ERBB2 is up-regulated in lung cancer tissues and cell lines, and propofol reduces its expression. Mechanistically, circ-ERBB2 sponges miR-7-5p to increase FOXM1, thereby promoting malignant phenotypes including proliferation, invasion and glycolysis and reducing apoptosis; circ-ERBB2 knockdown enhances propofol’s antitumor effects in xenografts.
