CircNEK9 is up-regulated in gastric cancer tissues, cell lines, and plasma exosomes. It promotes GC proliferation, cell cycle progression, migration, invasion, metastasis, and xenograft tumor growth by sponging miR-409-3p and up-regulating MAP7. Plasma exosomal circNEK9 may serve as a diagnostic or therapeutic marker and enhances malignant motility of recipient GC cells.
