Description:

circRSU1 is up-regulated in oxidative-stress/inflammation-stimulated human chondrocytes and in OA cartilage from elderly patients. It promotes ROS production, inflammatory cytokines, and ECM degradation by sponging miR-93-5p to increase MAP3K8 and activate MEK/ERK1/2 and NF-kappaB signaling; overexpression aggravates OA-like changes in a mouse OA model.
